剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     用剧作者自己的音乐剧来拍音乐剧传记片实在是再适合不过了。Jonathan的天赋是无可比拟的，他的悲剧为Rent更是蒙上一丝传奇色彩。加菲的表演有功无过，尽管唱功跟专业歌手比还是差了点。影片里能看到不少之后Rent的影子，比如What You Own，La Vie Bohème等等。对Sunday in the Park with George的致敬也很妙，还有很多惊喜客串（林漫威，Hadestown里饰演Hermes的André De Shields，Hamilton饰演大姐二姐的Renée Elise Goldsberry和Phillipa Soo，还有Helen Mirren）。整体而言十分动人，旁边的观众几度都要落泪了。
